Managing Director
Alex is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and founder of AJH Films, known for exploring controversial topics through compelling storytelling. His acclaimed film Keep Quiet, about a Hungarian far-right politician discovering his Jewish heritage, premiered at Tribeca, won Berlin’s Cinema for Peace award, and was later acquired by Netflix. Holder then went on to produce Unprecedented, a three-part series offering exclusive insights into Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign and the events leading to January 6th, which became one of the most widely watched political documentaries of all time. Holder’s current work includes a project on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with access to key leaders, and a feature centred around a high-profile political figure.
Head of Operations & Production
Emma is Head of Operations and Production at AJH Films. Emma leapt up the Production ladder with her first Line Producer credit at 25 years old, for Unprecedented, a 3-part docu-series with exclusive access to Donald J Trump and the First Family. Since navigating a momentous launch for Unprecedented, which generated $1B+ in media value, she has been named “Broadcast Hot Shot” fundraised capital investment, Production Exec’d chart-topping Netflix hit The Man with 1000 Kids and launched a brand-new development fund.
Creative Director
Marcos Horacio Azevedo is the editor and creative director at AJH Films, known for producing and lead editing the acclaimed docuseries Unprecedented. Currently, he is working on Conflict of Interest, exploring the Israel-Palestine conflict. Marcos was born in Rio de Janeiro and holds an MFA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University, Philadelphia. Prior working at AJH Films, he founded and ran Tatu Filmes, Brazil’s leading trailer house. During 12 years, Marcos created over 200 marketing campaigns for clients such as Netflix, HBO, Paramount, Disney and Amazon. His editing credits include ESPN’s The Myth of Garrincha, Netflix’s McGregor Forever, and campaigns for Hunger Games, Narcos, 3%, and Amazon’s DOM.
Head of Development
Natalie is a multi-BAFTA-winning TV director and producer known for creating high-profile, issue-driven stories with unique access and sensitivity. She developed and executive-produced the critically acclaimed The Man with 1000 Kids for Netflix, and Bad Boy Chiller Crew, the Grierson-shortlisted documentary series about the eponymous rap group. With over 25 years in the industry, Natalie has shaped some of Britain’s most significant shows, including The Apprentice, 24 Hours in A&E, Great British Menu, Stacey Dooley Investigates, and developed Fashion’s Dirty Secrets for BBC One on the environmental impact of fast fashion, which helped change UK law and was Grierson shortlisted and BAFTA winning.
Development Producer
Spencer is the development producer at AJH Films, where he works under Natalie to manage the company’s slate of new projects. Previously, he co-founded and served as Managing Director of the independent production company Piano Factory Films, producing the Raindance-nominated film Mudlark. Following this, Spencer joined Spark Media Partners as a development producer, where he developed and associate-produced the Broadcast Award-nominated Channel 4 series Ancient Egypt by Train and its sequel Ottoman Empire by Train.
